Safety First
Providing quality work, done safely, is our first priority at Mid GA Electrical Services. We strive to maintain a safe and drug-free work force through strict adherence to the policies of the Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA), Mine Safety and Health Association (MSHA), and our own drug testing program.
Our Commitment to Electrical Safety
All of our installations and repairs are conducted in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70), the Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace (NFPA 70E), the Building Construction and Safety Code (NFPA 72), and others. Each of our workers, journeyman and above, has received OSHA 10 training, at a minimum. Job safety hazards and procedures are reviewed daily, “Tool Box Talks” are held weekly, and overall Safety Training is held monthly. Mid GA Electrical Services is constantly instilling the importance of electrical safety in its team members so they take the proper precautions in the field while providing any service, electrical or otherwise.
All of our employees are equipped with any Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for the job. PPE is thoroughly inspected prior to each use and replaced as required or necessary. Among the safety programs Mid GA Electrical Services participates in are Tappi Safe, I.S. NetWorld, Browz, and Avetta. Copies of our insurance, safety training, and drug testing programs are available upon request.
